Questions about custody, release, a booking record, or a court order must go to the government office that created the information. Glasscock County has no county jail, so a local arrest may be housed by another county. The contacts below separate the sheriff's routing role, the receiving jail's custody record, the clerk's court file, and the state or federal systems that may receive a transferred person.

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, free a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office directly for those services.

Glasscock County Sheriff

Call the sheriff to learn which jail accepted a Glasscock arrest and whether the event was release, bond, or transfer. No current office hours are published, so confirm availability before travel.

The sheriff office is not a current county jail. Once the receiving jail is identified, ask that jail for the booking number, physical departure time, release code, and destination.

Glasscock Court Records

The combined clerk can locate bond orders, judgments, dismissals, sentences, jail-time credit, and discharge orders. These documents explain legal authority, while the housing jail records the physical custody event. Confirm hours and fees before visiting.

Texas Custody Contacts

For a person received into state custody, use the TDCJ Inmate Information Search. TDCJ's inmate-information pages publish the current telephone and email routes, which should be checked live instead of relying on a copied number. For post-release supervision, consult the TDCJ Parole Division directory and verify the assigned office from the person's record.

Texas VINELink is available continuously for participating-agency custody notices, though the agency controls when data is updated. VINELink does not issue certified release records.

Federal and Immigration Records

A federal sentence belongs in the Federal Bureau of Prisons system. Immigration detention uses the ICE Detention Network. Leaving a county jail for either agency is a transfer, not proof of community release. Use the relevant federal records channel when a historical or document-grade record is needed.
